Two of pentacles, the magician, five of pentacles

TWO OF PENTACLES- The Lord of Harmonious Change

The first card that appears is that of two of pentacles – A man is depicted with two brilliantly golden discs in his hand. He is not just standing there, holding them. He is in the act of juggling them. He is a juggler, a multi-tasker. These two large discs are supported by twisted band. It’s just a one big band, twisted together to make two small circles. While he dances and juggles wearing a funny hat, it must be noticed that he is standing on solid grounds, although the scene behind him seems quite chaotic. The sea is facing a high tide and the ships sailing in it are almost on the verge of getting upturned. And yet this man goes about his off-beat dance. There are two messages that can be derived from it. One, the man does not bother so as to what is going around him, he continues to follow what he feels is right and second he is so far able to maintain a delicate equilibrium between the two Cs i.e chaos and calm. The elastic band via which the two discs get supported make a mystical symbol (∞), which is a symbol of infinity.

The card talks about a man who has been unconventional in his approach, who no matter how hard things became still managed to smile through it, a man who was not afraid to try new things and yet a man who sometimes followed so many directions, walked on so many paths that that he got caught in the loop of infinity.

Since the card has landed in the past position it clearly indicates that in your life so far you have not let anyone stop you from following many paths. You had wild fun, and you took from it what you felt was best. The card asks of you to be a more refined juggler, if you are currently having your plate full of projects, life, laughter, tears, pain, friends, and warmth then juggle these eclectic emotions with a sense of calmness and celebration. When we think too much then we cannot juggle. No matter how tumultuous the background looks, like a calm and carefree person keep the tempo up.

THE MAGICIAN - The Magnus of Power

One of the most powerful cards of major arcana, no matter how much we say or write about this card, it will still never be enough to fully explain its power and meaning, a very exalted and an auspicious card. The card indicates making dream, a reality. A person who possesses the wonderful ability to bring what is mystical, what is ethereal to the human plane, a person who actually can create a formula for intuition, a person who can bring esotericism on formulaic plane. The path that seems very ordinary to you right now possesses nothing less than a grand extraordinariness. Only something great in your life right now can summon such a powerful card like magician. He does not come that easy. He is here to tell you that some kind of magic has filled your life which you yourself are not aware of right now. A benefic presence, something or someone powerfully divine both in person and pages have come to you. Things have happened and happened for good reason. Now is the time for taking action, now is the time to realize your potential. Now is the time to stay committed on the path that has been chosen for you.

The magician in the picture is depicted as raising his right hand, over his hand with a wand in this hand. The ends of wand look like small pointed pyramids. Pyramids have long been considered excellent channels for converging energies on one single point. They are store house of energies; our Hindu temples also convey the same architectural design. They act as connectors, something of the sky is being brought to earth and something of the earth is being sent to the sky. And Magician himself is the channel, the energy station through which all this is happening. In front of him, on the table are resting physical objects representative of four powerful elements, the cup, the wand, the sword and the pentacle. The cup represents emotions, the sword – our intellect and thoughts, the wand signify passions and creativity and the pentacle represent material gains. The magician himself is the fifth element, the space, in which all these powers have the ability to blossom. He combines them all, he gives them life. Thus you have been given the seed of life. You have been handed the secret, your entire energies should be invested in making it come to life. Also notice the powerful infinity symbol (∞) hovering over the magician, the same symbol is seen in the hand of juggler. The Magician is the Tarot's card of being genuine and open. Thus this card asks of you to be receptive, invest in good karmas, and cherish what you have now. Now is the power. Magician like all other powerful tarot entities have its negative side too, he can also represent conman ship, has he actually summoned the elemental forces because as far as the story goes, these forces were already there in the bag that the previous card of tarot i.e the fool was carrying, magician just showed the fool their true potential. Thus beware of con, sometimes in pursuits of something ambitious we end up hurting others, appearance of magician asks of you to not to be that person. The card also wants you to observe prudence and do not let people at your work con you.

FIVE OF PENTACLES - The Lord of Material Troubles
You are ignoring what you have right now - On more psychological level troubled times brought upon via ignoring someone. The five of pentacles when combines with the emperor card, which it has in few other readings that were done keeping the querent’s question in mind, clearly depicts presence of some sort of addiction within the querent, which he is not able to overcome. Five of Pentacles shows something lacking in terms of finances, health and emotions. Take care of your health and before it goes further wrong, you must re-adjust your lifestyle as they said help is around you, just need to look around. When paired with magician it indicates that there is a possibility of you getting conned in money matters, so take the plunge carefully. Also it asks of you to keep your eyes open, look around in times of trouble because the help will always be nearby, in form of a friend, life-path or family. Just do not isolate yourself to the point where you stand alone. This card springs up when you feel something is lacking in your life. But the powerful card of magician is here to tell you, you will become what you think. Thus think great. Greatness does not lie in self-pity; greatness lies in self-belief. Help is near-by and right within your own-self and take full control of it. Be the magician. This is your life path. Be the mentor who is his own guide, the one who is brilliant like the sky and yet humble like earth, the one who becomes the platform, where earth and sky meet. In a way, it also depicts the path you are following right now. The study of life, the most arcane, the most mysterious and myriad, made available, in a way brought on earthly plane just for you. You have magic in your life right now; all you need is open your eyes and heart to it.

One chapter ends, another one begins.

One chapter ends, another one begins. But sometimes such are the chapters that one wants to linger onto them. But life is not about re-reading the same chapters. One must turn the page. We take with us only the lessons from the past. So here we are turning over to newer page. Let’s see what it brings but one thing is for sure, it is going to be crisp, fresh, divine and full of life just as life itself. My divine is the best author; he wrote the book of my life and asked me to go through it one by one. Do not know what will prevail but he likes to keep the journey exciting.

Confessions of a DORK

Yes sometimes I cry when it rains, it reminds me of special people in my life, the ones who are with me and the ones who left me

Yes I enjoy my solitude but sometimes extended solitude turns into loneliness and don’t know when this loneliness turns into solitude

Yes I sometimes dream of open green spaces and wind blowing through my hair, it feels as if I am being set free

Yes sometimes I deliberately jump in puddle of water as the splash and whoosh become my stress busters

Yes sometimes I want to cuddle a puppy. They make my heart melt. The cute fluff balls make my troubles go away.

Yes sometimes when I am not able to sleep at night, I go to my balcony or rooftop and the silence of night mystifies me.

Sometimes simple things like call from an old friend or innocent laughter of a kid makes my day.

Is it wrong not to feel ambitious and not to push away people for success, since these people were the reason that I was successful in first place? What it is called ‘Climbing up the success ladder and leaving people behind’ or ‘People are just staircases in your life, step on them, climb and then leave them behind.’ One should inadvertently and advertently stay detached. Sorry I do not get any of the above quote. I hate people who practice them. Thus Am a DORK

Is it okay to value friends more than work and if that warmth goes missing and everything becomes way too mechanical, is it okay to LET GO.

Where do I fit in this competitive, political crazy world where pleasures are found by treading on toes, when I do not want to hurt a fly?

And is it fine to sometimes hate, burn or throw away magazines who commodify sex, and infinitely talk about shoes, bags or accessories, calling it extended "Symbology" of humanity

When I watch the world pacing around me, I wonder where are they going, why they are missing the bliss of journey in order to reach their destinations. Is destination yet another goal for them? Aren’t we suppose to enjoy the journey

Last but not the least is it okay to get nightmares about failed examinations although when I wake up I find I am in my late twenties and have left the classroom premises way back.

I hate math, anything to do with mathematical analysis, playing the game of adding and subtracting numbers all throughout the day.

And I still like playing ‘Ludo’.

Confirmed dork because used way too may ‘I’s in the above confessions

So what is your dorky confession?

Let me know

Tarot card combinations- 9 of Pentacles, 2 of Cups and Queen of Swords

Nine of Pentacles

A woman dressed in her silken robes, watches over her nine pentacles or discs, encrusted in her beautifully maintained hedgerows, dotted with ripened grapes. A bird perches over her hand and with one hand on the pentacle she is looking at the bird. Her expression seem to border on boredom. Luxury is a way of life for her. The woman in card is able to create a life of wealth around her and is perfectly settled in it. She has generated enough wealth to buy her luxuries of the world which we as human beings otherwise dream of or strive for.

However one thing to be noticed in this card is absence of laughter or family people, this cards does not denote company. Like 10 of cups card which denotes a happy family life with children playing in the background. We see absence of such an interaction in this card.

The lady is for sure surrounded by beauty and all things lovely, but her overgrown hedgerows seem to cut her off, from rest of the world. She has sort of retreated in her own world of beauty and pleasure but in a way seems isolated.

Thus this card denotes material abundance but also depicts isolation. Since this card has landed in the past position thus we can say that the querent was surrounded by enough wealth that helped her create a wonderful, beautiful but sort of isolated space for her.

Two of Cups

The second card that comes after that of nine of pentacles is two of cups and the moment we see this card, we see ‘company’. It is a card indicative of bonding, of two people coming together in love, partnerships or business ventures. And since it has landed in the present position we can successfully say that the lady with nine pentacles will soon expect company, she will come out of the retreat she has surrounded herself with. Something will blossom.

This card represents two people drawn to a common cause or to each other and together they will be taking onto newer journeys. It speaks of harmony established between two people. Soon enough!

Queen of swords
Queen of swords speaks of a well thoughtful woman who does not wear her heart on the sleeves, is practical enough to understand underlying current of a situation and tries to look at the complete picture, for a given scenario. It simply means a well informed person who treads her path carefully.

The presence of feminine energy dominates all the three cards. Thus we can say that a woman is the center figure of these card readings and also the cards are asking us to connect to our intuitions. Since the queen of swords has landed next to two of cups card, it is giving a clear message that the new bond, or association soon to be arriving in the querent’s life must not be taken on the ‘face value’.

No matter how promising it may sound, not matter how right it may sound, the querent is being asked not to wear her heart on her sleeves. It also denotes presence of wise woman in querent’s life who will advice her to look at the bigger picture and will ask her to tread carefully. It can also represent the practical side of querent’s mind.

Boredom propels us to latch onto anything or person who enters our life. The similar situation is being faced by lady with nine pentacles, it can be called boredom or nine of pentacles represents a woman whose life seems fulfilled in material terms but is yet to find or discover deep bonds or associations and when she is going to enter in to one, it will be very intense.

The queen of swords is simply asking her not let go of reason. She is an intellectual woman who has faced some serious tragedies in past. Thus no matter how beautiful the future looks like, she will not let go of reason and practicality.

The queen of swords is asking the querent to do the same. Be alert and even when a time comes through associations, when the querent will see the world with rose tinted shades, the querent is being asked not to let go of reason and before entering in union or partnership look at the complete picture.

I will dance in rains, till I become one with blue sky and green earth
I will dance to this life, until the death arrives
I will not fear, I will not cry
The beauty, the fragrance resides in my heart
It will be carried far and wide
The water from shores carry whisper
They tell me to unite, in spite of ferocious tides
I will not hide, I will dance
Dance to this life

The world card here perfectly denotes the sentiments expressed in the poem next to it. Rest you guys tell me

Tarot Cards -Divine Interpreters- To All Tarot Lovers and Querents

To,
All Tarot lovers and Querents
We all feel a unique connection to the mystical deck of Tarot cards. How I interpret is that Tarot cards are not just some wishing bowls where we place our request and they will follow our command. Tarot cards are higher energies in motion thus they may sometime choose to guide, help or calm us and sometime they can tell us what we need to know. So I take them as my friendly guide. They are divine interpreters of our destinies, they light the path we are treading on, and we have to be receptive to what they are trying to tell. Sometimes they see what we don’t want to see. But the truth will be told irrespective of the fact whether we feel good or bad about it.

Tarot Cards- Mystical combinations - Mixing Fire and Water

Emperor is the fourth major arcana card in Tarot decks; a rigid throne, with ram’s head as its extensions on the hands as well as on the left and right side on the back of the throne. An old figure sitting upright, dressed in fiery but plain robes. The robes naturally exude royalty yet they are simple.

Card Interpretation

This card is representative of first sign of the zodiac that is Aries, the figure in the card depicts an old man whose every inch of posture exudes royalty and authority. The emperor is the emperor, the super ego, the powerful male authority, an experienced ruler, disciplined; rigid whose commands are well listened to and respected. To put is simply ‘His way or highway’. When this card appears in tarot reading, it shows in the battle between practicality and abstract, the practically has won. This card speaks of a solid foundation on which love, growth, education happened. Thus this card also represents the old man in the house, the one who provided for all your needs. Father, father figure, an aged professor who guided you through many things, the card can also represents an able leader, or a boss.
It must be understood that although this card speaks of authority, discipline, power, there is a rigid stubbornness attached to this card. Well it takes huge efforts to shake a throne. It means shaking entire foundation on which kingdom, your own personal kingdom is thriving.

In tarots, the emperor can represent an internal force, power right within us that we are about to face or the power that forms the foundations of our life. On the level of mind it can represent the state of our own mind right at this time, the impact right now on our mind, in astrology we say, currently you are under the influence of such and such transit thus you may fell aggressive, overly emotional and so on. Well external and internal are thus referral points to make us understand the difference. In reality there is no difference at all.

Coming back to emperor card, understand it like this that tarots are not just some wish bowl where we place our request and they will follow our command. Tarots are higher energies in motion thus they may sometimes choose to guide, help or calm us and sometimes they can tell us what we need to know. So take them as our guide not as our servants. They are divine interpreters of our destinies, they light the path we are treading on, and we have to be receptive to what they are trying to tell. Sometimes they see what we don’t want to see. But truth will be told irrespective of the fact whether we feel good or bad about it.

The emperor card rests here in the past position thus it signifies that the querent was blessed with a solid foundation, on which rests her present life. For a building to stand one needs a solid base. She was and is provided with all the important ingredients necessary to build a life upon.

The emperor card also represents the stubbornness of the mind thus it does not allow for the higher experiences to happen. Ego, super ego, everything centered on ‘You’ can lead to arrogance, not ready to let in. But since this has appeared in the past position it denotes that it is time for this stubbornness to give way for new things to happen.

Temperance is the fourteenth major arcana cards in tarot decks. A winged angel, with one foot on firm rock, the other on ethereal water, with a calm focus is transferring what looks like liquid from one goblet to another back and forth. A halo surrounds her golden hair and crown.

Card interpretation

In the above tarot card the angel is depicted as mixing two extremely opposite elemental forces fire and water, in some other cards it is depicted as mixing wine with water.

The card speaks to the querent about the power to bring together the opposites. It subtly tells us, that the things we consider opposite to each other are merely one of two sides of the same coin. One cannot do without the other. We try to isolate one thing from the other; creating invisible boundaries which are sometimes even more difficult to cross than real boundaries. A boundary drawn on piece of land can be seen but what to say about the ones which we draw in our minds. Spiritual world is separate from material world, believers in god, non- believers in god, I follow the way of wisdom, and I do not understand what bhakti (spiritual love) is all about. I follow my heart or I only follow statistics. And this card is about meeting of the opposites so in a way it is saying, opposites do not exist.

It we see the placement of this card in the major arcana series, death card appears after this card. And when the tarot reading was done on a querent in her reading as well the first card was that of emperor, the second was temperance and the third was death card. Temperance card is powerfully linked with the card that comes before and after it. It indicates that one must not fight the opposites but should try to bring them together. A time will come when things are going to pull the querent in opposite directions, to be honest our mind does that trick all the time, but sometimes major events in our lives leaves our mind in a very chaotic state, the appearance of this card tells the querent that one must learn to balance these opposing forces. On one side of temperance card stands life, emperor card is linked with life, thriving kingdom, strong foundation and on the other side of temperance card we see in layout the death card, all the past foundations whether emotional, physical and mental going through major upheavals. Primarily the emotional ones will come to an abrupt end giving ways to new beginnings. The flakes of the past, the people and questions pending will be erased out. Now please do not take it literally, I have cleared it, on the emotional level for this querent.

When Temperance card appears, it is a kind of an invite to see the mind in the mirror, to confront the deepest questions lurking in the inner most corner of the mind. Temperance card is like a torch offered to us and it is asking us to take a trip in realms of our mind and see where we stand, what our life is all about.
Always remember cards have individual meanings and when they form pair their meanings take a whole new level.

Here the emperor card depicts discipline and control sometimes to the point of stubbornness and aggressiveness. With temperance card with it, it is trying to say, that tone down this aggressiveness, balance it with the abstract. As I am able to bring to extreme together in perfect harmony, you too can do that. Immense calm yet focused on balancing the opposites that what temperance denotes. Learn and earn. Always remember, you are the power depicted in the tarots and yet you are one who has to learn. Temperance is like an oasis in the desert and also much needed relief before onset of major sand dunes. Again not literally, well may be in desert areas but here it denotes some major chaos is on way, stay calm and focused as it will lead to new interesting beginnings. Toss them together; calmness as well as chaos, the opposing forces and we will find that one is merely a reflection of the other.

Tarot Cards- Secret revealed

Interpretation
Here king of cups and hermit are showing unique affinity to each other, to the point hermit is completely ignoring hierophant and it seems as if king of cups is listening to what hermit has to say, with emotions magnificently under control. Hermit is extending his lamp of light to king of cups. The King of Cups is representative of a person uniquely in control of his emotions. He receives every thread of emotions with utter stability. He does not get excited easily. This card represents those who choose religion, art as their life path.

One of the more mysterious cards in the Tarot deck is The Hermit. Standing atop a hill, in his solitude, a man dressed in robes, giving impression of man who has retreated into layers of life, looking down into the space below, holding a lamp from which a star spills out bright light. This simple card is indicative of a complex situation at hand. When The Hermit card appears in the reading, it exudes solitude front and center. Now whether this very solitude is going to flower into silence of the within and around or is it about a person trapped in confines of his mind. The beauty about tarot card combinations is they are to be seen in relation with each other.

Coming to the third card, which is hierophant, in readings, the Hierophant often represents learning; being in the company of learned teachers. The card implies learning with highly able teachers. This card also stands for sacred institutions, their disciplines and norms. You will see a Hierophant card in Tarot reading when you are about to surrender you intellect towards higher knowledge. Here is means studying in traditional educational institutions who have created behind them a powerful legacy. It must be understood that here knowledge will not be that of an abstract kind but will be well processed, channelized and technical. The subject of study can be esoteric in nature but approach will be technical. Hierophant when appears in future position it means that an individual is subjecting himself to a well channelized, institutionalized education system concerning religion, art, philosophy, or occult.

In above spread the hermit seemed to have turned his back to hierophant. And the hermit’s solemn attention is on King of cups. From king of cup’s side, he can see both the hermit and the hierophant. Hermit seems unwilling to listen to hierophant’s call or advice. So much has he internalized everything that he is just not willing to look outwards? But he is ready to share all he has got with king of cups. To the point he is extending his light to him. It also seems like hermit is only willing to speak with King of cups. Thus a great communication of an unknown order is flowing from the hermit to kings of cup. And the nature of king of cups is that he absorbs everything without the slightest speck of excitement. There is a sense of somber ness attached to hermit card's nature and what best way to pass it on and that to a person who is master of the emotions. See king of cups floating on ferocious sea, with utter calmness. While The Hermit manifests the wisdom of sun, the moon ruler of water is the churners of emotions in our mind and on which king of cups, the king of sea, the king of emotions sits. Some great exchange of emotions is taking place between hermit and king of cups more from the side of hermit. Some great emotional energy, some mystical power is flowing from hermit, and what best person to know it, to hold it, to absorb it than the king of cups.

Here the hierophant seems to stand alone. The king of cups is seeing the hierophant but hierophant does not seem to be aware of his presence. So it seems right cause being the king of water and emotions his energy can flow to hierophant but hierophant being rigid, his energy can not flow to king of cups but yet he is there. Like a sturdy pillar. So on one side the hermit face flexibility and on other side the hermit counters rigidity. The hierophant is suggesting to the hermit it is time to move outward, to study and follow. To understand outer discipline, to understand religion, art, to enter into ceremonies. The Hermit does not seem willing because it looks too rigid to the hermit. But soon enough all doors to knowledge will open up and the hermit whose energy seems to incline more towards emotions and that of past will eventually be redirected towards strength. The same strength as depicted in the pillar that stands behind the hierophant. It is to be noted that strength has many forms and is being depicted in both the cards. In the card of king of cups, he sits on furious waters but he stays afloat and is in control. The hierophant sits on high chair and is also in control. The hermit is showing more inclination towards strength of the moon which is more inward, but the time is arriving for him to turn towards the strength of sun which is more direct and expansive.

So, my friends here was step by step reading of the above mysterious and powerful combination.

The key

The key is to let go of all the keys. And wish that one day you too can fly like a carefree bird. Freedom will surely happen. How and when, well that is not assured. But definitely some day the slate will be wiped clean for fresh beginnings. Like morning dew, freshly created tinkling on leaf. One day, do not know when, but soon enough life will shine through. Life will emerge - innocent, bright and full of light. Wait and watch. All the ill-happenings will get shaken off. The grudges will find way to acceptance. Such is life. It finds its way. Always. So be patient.
